Senegal is showing the 'village of the future' in the Sahel countries' group presentation. Architects who belong to the Sahel 21 team have asked women, children and men how they imagine their village of the future. They have converted the ideas into a model village. They are constructing it in the middle of the Senegalese exhibition. The most westerly of all African states is also demonstrating glass painting in a Senegalese mud house. A revolving column provides information about the country and its geographical position in the Sahel zone.
