Life on the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago is closely linked to oil production - the leading economic sector of the islands. Even music was originally played on oil barrels. The instruments known today as steeldrums used to be the metal lids of oil barrels. If you like the sound, why not try these instruments for yourself?
