"Oblasts" and "Chernozem", the regions and the fruitful soil of the country, are the focal points of the Ukrainian contribution. Achievements in aerospace engineering are demonstrated as examples of the innovative Ukrainian industry. And the exhibition also documents how the country is coping with the consequences of the reactor catastrophe of Chernobyl.

Alternating exhibitions of the regions and sectors give a complex picture of this scientifically highly developed country with such a favourable climate and natural beauty, located in the heart of Central Europe. Presentations of the agriculture, nature conservation areas and leisure regions give an impression of the country's history and culture since the Skythes and the Kiev Rus, to round off the Ukrainian contribution.
