A lift takes the visitor up to the roof on the fifth floor, which is designed as a water landscape featuring modern wind turbines. Since most of Holland lies below sea level it only makes sense that the visit around the pavilion leads downwards. An exterior staircase leads back down to the fourth floor where a stand-up cinema shows two films which reveal unknown sides of Holland.
On the third floor, a forest has been planted at a lofty height. Its roots represent Holland's network of paths, ports, canals and enterprises. On the first floor Holland's flowering tulip fields await you. A landscape of dunes, including an outdoor café, leads the visitor back to the landscaped park, dotted with sculptures.
