Barbados
Good business, good life
The motto of Barbados's exhibition in the joint presentation of the Caribbean nations is "Good business, good life". This motto has been exported directly from the island of Barbados itself. Tourist dollars and favorable taxation policies for foreign investors has made this most easterly Caribbean island prosperous. Barbados is well known for its cleanliness in public spaces, punctual buses, and nearly non-existent crime rate.

At EXPO 2000, its banks and insurance companies are highlighted. Information about investment possibilities can be had at a business center. Outside the pavilion, a reconstruction of the entrance to "Harrison's Cave," a tourist attraction, can be found. With the help of a simulation, visitors dive under water to see a film about the aquatic world of the island.
